New holding: Schroder UK Mid Cap Fund

Schroder Mid Cap Investment Trust (SCP.L, FTSE Small Cap Index. Market Cap £160m, 437p, 2.0% of JIC Portfolio and 0.0% of JIC Top 10)

The FTSE Mid Cap Index is down 10.0% today and 29% from its peak on 7th January. This trust is off 12.0% today and 38% from its peak on 30th December.

It is on around an 8.0% discount to assets and as the chart below shows, very oversold with an RSI of 22.

If it maintains its dividend this year, the yield is an attractive 4.2%.

It gives exposure to a basket of attractive UK mid-cap stocks. The largest 10 positions on 31st January:
